Reporting directly to the Director, the Senior Consultant will:   Develop, implement and manage strategic communications and special situations for clients, in the areas of change management, public affairs, stakeholder engagement and mission critical business moments Act on behalf of the client to defend and advance their business objectives Develop IP, bespoke client strategy and frameworks that blend management consulting, risk management and strategic communications Lead the development of high-quality business development Develop high quality drafts of communications documents and other content materials Be able to work with and lead projects with clients’ internal stakeholders as well as external parties such as lawyers, bankers, investors and policy advisors   & You Places high value on intellectual curiosity and challenging the status quo Entrepreneurial, self-starter Sets high expectations of themselves and others Leads by example Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and adaptability to various competing demands Very strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, and other external partners as well as a global team Expert level of both written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to process and transfer complex information in a concise and clear form Confident presenter; the ability to facilitate workshops is a plus Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions Has excellent references Wachsman was created specifically for the next generation of practitioners who want to advance in their careers based on their performance, drive and the power of their ideas.
