Location: Shanghai, China
Although this is a Shanghai-based role, this company embraces a flexible working environment that empowers their staff to manage their own time and place of work. The role will involve travel throughout Greater China or other region where required.
Purpose of the role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director China, the primary purpose of the role is to support the China Audit Operation with the overall scheduling and delivery of client audit assignments for the team throughout Greater China (China; Hong Kong; Taiwan).
In addition, this role may require the audit of markets outside of the Greater China region when business needs require.
There will be also an opportunity for the role to naturally develop to lead the audit projects end to end.
Key Responsibilities:
Review Client Agency contracts to identify contractual obligations and financial commitments to be audited.
Manage the audit engagements and inform the engagement status
Prepare and develop risk assessment templates and tool for audit data analysis
Assist in drafting, developing and finalising audit reports.
Support and work closely with other audit analysts within the APAC region when required.
Assist with account management administration (e.g., vendor set up, document chopping, good receipt supporting etc).
Assist or support with client management (e.g. data analysis feed for client meetings and audit debrief etc.)

What will you bring to the role?
3+ years finance experience in media services, possibly as a finance manager/supervisor in a marketing Agency.
An understanding of marketing Agency commercial models and contracts.
Experience in working with advertising Agency finance systems and processes.
An attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Ability to work as part of a small team and be flexible in approach to fulfilling your duties.
Motivated and hard working in order to meet client deadline and provide excellent client service
Strong logical thinking ability and good communication skills to connect with people in different contexts – internal team, clients, agencies.
Proficient user of excel and word
Good command of Business English in writing and speaking
