​As anyone in recruitment knows, tech talent is hard to find in Singapore. Particularly those who are focused on data analytics, machine learning, software development, artificial intelligence, and UX! Wouldn’t it be great if there was a platform where leading Singaporean startups can meet skilled talent in person, who are interested in searching for a new role?

On 16th January 2020, we held a tech-focused ‘Meet & Hire’ event at the new WeWork in Funan Mall. We curated the event to each companies’ specific talent requirements and hand-selected the candidates from a wide pool of talent in Singapore.

This wasn’t an ordinary networking event. To qualify for a place, you had to have potential, the right mentality, a polished CV and be able to rise to the challenge of meeting 10 startups in one evening! Luckily, we managed to find over 50 qualified candidates who fit the bill. After months of preparation, interviews, marketing campaigns, site visits, floorplan designing, and menu planning, the event was a huge success with over 50 face to face meetings, and many more scheduled interviews post-event.

The feedback was incredibly positive from both the candidate and client-side. Candidates said the event was very well organized, catering specifically to each individual's requirements and had great energy on the night! One of the employers said the quality of the candidates was fantastic, and brilliant compared to other career events they had attended. Check out what it was all about in the video below!
